H'Olympics...
was
developed in 1989 after five NFCCE agencies participated in a
basketball tournament at Arizona Boys Ranch. The tournament was such
a success that the participating agencies decided to expand the
experience and offer more children an opportunity to be involved in
an athletic event like the Olympics.
The
first H'Olympics was hosted by the Children's Home of Easton,
Pennsylvania. The event continues to stress sportsmanship and
goodwill, and offers children much more than athletic competition.
The games allow children with similar backgrounds to share positive
experiences, receive recognition for their special talents,
socialize, and most of all ... have fun!
The
H'Olymics attracts more agencies each year who want to take part in
this unique and special event. To find out more about the H'Olympics,
